So, I just tried to post a comment on one of our fellow cohort members blog and it wouldn't let me. It kept telling me that "comments on this blog are restricted to team members." So, I went in the top left corner and clicked on the blue button that said "join this site," and my picture-less icon shows up as a member, but I still cannot post my comment. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
What type of blog (Blogger? Posterus?). And do you also have a blog account with them?
ReplyDeleteI have had problems posting comments sometimes, and what I have found for some odd reason is that if I click on the "preview" button (instead of "pst comment" button, and then I click to post comment -- and it works.
But another issue may be the settings by the blog owner: they may have limited it -- so can you email them and ask?
Other suggestions anyone?
They have blogger, which I also use. I will try to e-mail them and see...
ReplyDeleteWe'll review this in class when we meet to help resolve this issue for others - I know that some have their settings so "tight" that others can't comment.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, when you join a blog, it means you are following it and the blog (and other) users know you are following it, but it doesn't necessarily give you rights to comment. This is confusing! :)
